5 Reasons Why Your Car Won't Start

Reasons Why Car Won't Start

There are several reasons for not starting the vehicle. but some reasons are very common. In this blog we are going to discover those reasons.


1) Dead Battery

 It's a very common reason for not starting the vehicle. Just think you had forgotten to tune off the headlight while parking. That might drain your battery. there are many reasons such as a loose wire. there is also a common scene that is founded that evaporation of water inside the component that also causes poor conductivity. Basically, there is no exact reason to drain your battery but the end of the result your can will not start.

To confirm the reason for a dead battery what you can do is turn on the headlight and see. If the headlight doesn't works than the reason is confirmed. but if it works properly then you should check the other reasons.

There is another way to affirm that to check the battery is To use jumper cables. If your cars start than its confirm that the battery is the causing problem not to start your vehicle. but again, if it doesn't start then look the next possible reason.


02) Bad Ignition Switch

When you come to know that your battery is good but still your vehicle is not starting then you should look at the ignition system, more specifically ignition switch. If the car don't start after a couple of tries than maybe the ignition switch is not in a good condition.

Another thing, If you see that the car starts and suddenly stalls than it could be due to a bad ignition switch. It usually happens when the ignition switch has become failed to the 'ON' position. the only that is supposed to energy the gas and ignition systems.

You can check if the trouble is with your ignition switch by turning the ignition key to the start function and letting move of the key. Allow it to come again to the 'ON' role and take a look at what the warning lights (if they blink) tell you. If they go out whilst the transfer snaps returned in, then your ignition transfer needs to be fixed.


03) Broken Starter

A Broken starter is also a major suspect to not starting the vehicle. It's very simple, the starting motor is the only one who spins the engine flywheel. So if it becomes unable to move it or it had some mechanical or electrical issue than it would not perform its operation.So faulty starting motor equals not starting the engine, as simple as that.

For check the condition what you have to do is start the engine and listening to the clicking noise. If you hear it the cause is surely it may be weakened or might be broken.


04) Fuel Filter

Fuel filter makes the fuel clean before going to the Engine. But It becomes clogged after a long time. so the filter should be clean enough to ensure the fuel goes to the engine throttle body. Generally, Fuel filters should be changed around 10,000 to 15,000 miles to prevent them from getting clogged. So whenever your filter become clogged, It won't supply to the engine and your engine won't start. How might you see whether obstructed fuel filters are the reason?

The most ideal path is to open and check. But The recommended rule simply changes the fuel filter after 10,000 to 15,000 miles. In the event that you haven't change it for quite a while, consider change it and check if your vehicle starts now.


05) Empty Gas Tank

An empty gas tank also is the reason for not starting the engine. It's a very common and obvious reason. Generally it doesn't come to our mind. If you are driving for a long time then keep eyes on your dashboard and when it's going to be empty. So how to solve the problem?? 

Just go to the nearest gas station and feed your gas tank by fuel.
